Senior Software Engineer
Manchester OR Surrey OR Glasgow / 75-80k+ depending on experience

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer for a leading insurance company based in Surrey. You will be experienced in full stack OR back-end in Java 8+ OR front-end in React. You will also have developed distributed/ scalable systems and have utilised CI/CD, Jenkins and Docker, within cloud. Lastly, you need to feel confident in coaching/ mentoring others.
The salary is at least 75k, depending on skills and experience. This is the ideal opportunity to be a crucial member of an agile team, while mentoring other team members. You will also to create customer facing systems, microservices and cloud tech. Lastly, you will collaborate with SRE engineers to develop distributed systems.
Essential skills and qualifications
Great experience in full stack OR back-end in Java 8+ OR front-end in React
Experience of mentoring, coaching and leading software developers
Committed to own and team's growth
Strong knowledge of developing distributed and available systems
Experience using cloud tech, CI/CD, Jenkins and Docker
