Job Description

Our client is one of the leading multinational banks in the world with a strong office presence in Singapore and in the rest of APAC. This role will mostly be involved in fintech domain of payments as one of our client's core products.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Development activities include full-stack development, proposing architectural decisions, participating in designs, and develop new functionality
  • Review, code review, implementation, testing & release
  • Design, build and maintain a high-performance, high-availability, high-capacity, supportable and adaptive platform for Cash Management business
  • Collaborate with QA team on test automation of new and existing functionality; establish a quick turnaround deployable system with automated testing and continuous integration and delivery
  • Identify issues and implement solutions to complex problems in backend infrastructure and platforms; analyze & solve difficult problems across the stack
  • Contribute to the definition of the future state of the payments system architecture
  • Management of documentation of all code and functionalities implemented
  • Design and implement solutions to complex problems in large-scale platforms

Requirements:

  • Proficient experience in Core Java and its technologies
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of design principles, design patterns, and automated testing best practices
  • Prior experience with building high-performance trading system highly desirable including in microservices, event sourcing-based architecture highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of modern development methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum
  • Good team player with strong interpersonal skills, approachable and a collaborative attitude who can embrace & respect ideas of its peers
  • Passionate about new technologies, a fast learner, and has a “go-getter” approach
  • Interested in building first-class product to solve real-world problems
