A global insurer is looking for a Technical Pricing Analyst to join a pricing division assisting in different lines of business.
Responsibilities of the role include developing rating models, pricing individual accounts and monitoring performance of the portfolios, as well as assisting in the development of appropriate management information systems.
The role will require a general understanding and knowledge of the property insurance world, with good interpersonal skills due to the need to sometimes work alongside senior underwriters and liaise with business unit leaders.
Candidates are preferred to have at least 2 Years' experience within Personal Lines in the General Insurance Pricing industry, with proven excellent performance in a mathematical discipline. The candidate should have experience in using statistical tools such as R, SAS, Emblem or similar. Preferably the candidate should be highly skilled in Excel, Visual Basic, Python, Classifier and geographic analysis tools. Knowledge of machine learning techniques is desirable.
