Working closely with the practice head, you will play a key part in underwriting new business and key renewals in line with the risk appetite as well as being a focal point in managing and developing strong working relationships with London brokers.
Leading by example, you will collaborate with colleagues in order to promote the professional indemnity proposition with key broker contacts as well as devising strategies in order to develop new business.
The successful candidate will have previous professional indemnity underwriting experience as well as experience of dealing with clients on complex matters. As well as a good market reputation as a technical expert, you will have the ability to identify new business opportunities. Excellent communication and influencing skills are essential.
