I’m currently working closely with a well-regarded specialty insurer on the appointment of a Claims Manager for their London office. My client is well known for writing profitable business across multiple platforms and has a strong presence in catastrophe reinsurance, traditional specialty, as well as niche products.
Due to our client’s risk appetite the Claims Manager will be dealing with high value market losses and as such we expect this individual to have a strong market presence as well as the ability to lead market meetings.
It is a small team and therefore this role will be very hands on with the Claims Manager expected to liaise with various internal teams on ad hoc projects. We’re also looking for an individual with a broad class background as this person will be adjusting Political risk, energy, other specialty, and some Prop treaty reinsurance claims.
