My client, a growing insurer, is looking for a Syndicate Accountant to join their finance team. The role has come up as the incumbent has moved to another area of the company. The role is paying up to £55k for the right candidate.
You will report to the Financial Controller and work in a team of Syndicate and Assistant Syndicate Accountants. You will be involved in the preparation of US, UK, and Canadian regulatory and tax returns, production of monthly reports for the board and capital providers, as well as reviewing the work of the Syndicate accountants.
In order to be considered for the role, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience in the insurance industry as a Syndicate Accountant. You will also have experience with working with stakeholders within and outside organisations and an in-depth understanding of the Lloyd's syndicate market. This is a good step up for an Assistant Syndicate Accountant who wants the next step in their career.
