A Tax Consultant is required on a contract basis to work for a fantastic client, this is based remotely. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Tax Consultant to join an integrated team that will be working within a major systems development project and transformation programme.
The main role and responsibilities for this role will be providing indirect Tax advice and support the development and testing of tax functionality and reporting. Any experience of working with ERP systems will be highly beneficial but is not essential for the role. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills as they will be dealing with business stakeholders daily.
Analyse complex VAT and CCL scenarios in order to provide practical advice and suggest solutions to ensure the business is able to operate effectively and compliantly.
The client is paying up to £450 a day outside of IR35, dependent on experience. This is a great opportunity to join a company who are looking to grow and expand this current team.
Essential skills and qualifications:
- Tax or accounting qualifications
- Experience of relevant tax law
- Any knowledge of ERP systems is highly advantageous
- Being able to explain tax issues to non-tax specialists
- Excellent communication skills
