My client, a global specialist insurance group, has an urgent need for a Tax Manager to join their Finance team. The role will report directly to the Head of International Tax and have two people reporting into it. The role is based in the city of London and is offering up to £95k + bonuses & benefits for the right candidate.

In this role you will be responsible for the supervision of the UK Tax team, as well as tax compliance for the Luxembourg entity and its branches. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparation and review of corporation tax filings, analysis of financial statements by location of risk, reviewing inter-company commission and reinsurance agreements, and calculation of tax figures for regulatory reporting purposes.

In addition to a competitive salary you will also be entitled to a yearly bonus and great benefits. To be considered for this role, you will have a tax or accounting qualification with a solid understanding of tax accounting. You will also have advanced excel and great communication skills. Though not necessary, Insurance industry experience and other language skills (French, German, Spanish) will be looked upon favourably.
