Eames Consulting are pleased to be working in partnership with a market leading Insurance Group who are seeking an experienced technical accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis.

Applicants will ideally originate form practice background but other qualified accountants will be considered, but all applicants should hold PQE within an insurance / re insurance role and working knowledge of US GAAP.

Duties include:

  • Bank, balance sheet and underwriting reconciliations
  • Monthly management accounts
  • Group consolidations
  • Senior stakeholder engagement
  • Stock compensation expenses

If you have experience with equity based payments, then this will be extremely beneficial.

It is essential that applicants interested in the role can demonstrate their experience working within a similar role within an insurance environment, can demonstrate excellent communication skills and can utilise an analytical skill set to contribute to a commercially astute finance team.
