Technical Operations Support, Insurer, Zurich
Eames is currently working with a global reinsurer on a Technical Operations Support appointment within their European underwriting hub in Zurich office. This is a broad role providing operational and administrative support to a small team of Underwriters and Claims Adjusters, across Property, Casualty, Catastrophe and Specialty business lines.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Provide accurate data to underwriters and stakeholders to enable effective portfolio management
- Deal with other queries from external parties and ensure prompt resolution (e.g. certificates, claims approvals, other queries)
- Manage aged debt and timely premium collection processing with focus of overdue positions
- Support Underwriters in the renewal process by updating Subscribe according to Submission and/or signed wording.
- Point of contact for other support function queries relating to data quality, e.g. Finance, Actuarial, Credit Risk Management, including creating of reports
Previous insurance experience is essential, either general insurance or life.
