A large UK based insurer are seeking a technical systems actuary to assist with the actuarial analysis for the business division providing design and input into the delivery of technology systems for all actuarial platforms.
The role will involve some technical code and software development lifecycle responsibilities, as well as system architecture design and IT industry knowledge.
Suitable candidates will have an actuarial qualification with a background in defined benefit pension structures, individual retirement products and pension products, bulk purchase annuities/reinsurance.
Substantial experience in software/application development, actuarial data analysis and MI, and a track record of analysing solutions and requirements across multiple technologies, is essential. Excel / VBA/ Access / SQL / Python / R / C++ or Java.
