Technology Risk Manager
London (hybrid)
My client is a financial services business and they are looking for a Technology Risk Manger who would identify, assess, mitigate and report on operational and project risk. The Technology Risk Manager will be engaged with higher management as well as firm wide technology teams to ensure effectiveness of technology processes and controls. The Technology Risk Manager is a key member of the Risk management team who is capable of providing review and credibly challenging the management of operational risk related to information technology.
The ideal Technology Risk Manager will:
- Have experience in operating in a highly regulated environment
- Be possessing strong technical, analytical and problem- solving skills
- Have confidence to challenge perspectives regardless of seniority in the corporation
- Have the ability to efficiently handle risk and ambiguity
Key responsibilities:
- Reviewing and challenging technology risk (including all of its framework components) to ensure that all controls that are in place are consistently enhanced
- Identifying and assessing technology risks and incidents to support effectiveness of client's services
- Assessing whether new technology operations and controls are designed and implemented efficiently to ensure that risks are mitigated to adequate levels
- Reviewing metrics and escalation reports to monitor risk and issues in the Technology Risk
