A Global Corporate and Investment bank with a long standing and successful Singapore platform have an interesting opening for a Cross Asset Trading Associate to join their Global Markets Team in Singapore.
Reporting to a Senior Trader and with a dotted line to the Head of Global Markets, this role will suit a dynamic Front Office support/ Front Office professional looking to work in a more transparent, immersive structure.
The successful candidate will work primarily across FX and Rates products with additional exposure to Credit and Equity Derivatives. It is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work in a fast paced, front office environment with long term training potential.
Key responsibilities
- Provide support across price making, risk and order management for senior traders.
- Work with other bank offices in a dealing capacity, providing back up dealing support for sales across a select customer portfolio
- Assist with daily position sign offs
- Help the sales team with necessary marketing materials
- Helping with market uploads onto the trading system
Skills required:
- Understanding of Financial Markets (especially FX and Interest Rate products)
- Previous experience within a Trading, Trade Support or Product Control environment is preferred
- Strong communication skills are essential
- Due to the client demographic, proficiency in business Mandarin is preferred
