A competitive trading, asset management advisory firm that specializes in digital asset and cryptocurrency trading is looking for Trading System Support Engineer based in Singapore. You will play a major part in this role to provide 1st and 2nd line system support to cryptocurrencies traders and will involve in daily interaction with front office, operations staff, and application developers.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the entire trading process for trading desks that runs a proprietary cryptocurrency trading system
- Work closely with teammates to provide continuous coverage and timely response to ad-hoc requests and issues
- Design and implement fixes and workarounds
- Troubleshoot production issues and check with the relevant departments until the issue is resolve
- Cooperate with application development team and look into bug fixes and product enhancements
Experiences
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Engineering
- Prior experience working in a (front office) trading system support role, preferably in a top tier investment bank or hedge fund
- Strong in Linux, Shell scripting, Python and SQL
- Experience with other technologies such as C++, React, JavaScript, Machine Learning, Big Data, Blockchain is a plus
- Familiarity with the cryptocurrencies trading industry is a plus
