Eames Consulting are working in partnership with a leading multi-national insurer who are recruiting for Underwriters to support them with the strategic development of their Commercial Book of business covering Glasgow - looking after predominantly Property, Casualty, Motor Fleet & Trade.
This is a hybrid working role.
Underwriting Commercial Risks across SME to Mid-Market Clients ensuring profitability and in line with appetite.
- Predominantly assessing risks across Property, Casualty and Combined Package Business.
- Managing the overall performance of the book - assessing performance.
- Developing lasting relationships with brokers and clients in market.
- Assessing premium levels for risks which range generally from £25,000 to circa £75,000.
- Blended role of both New and Existing business.
- Meeting with brokers.
- Demonstrating contribution to loss ratio control.
