Eames are working on an exciting opportunity with a leading insurer who are looking to hire a Travel Underwriter to join their team.
The location of the role is flexible, but with occasional travel to either the London office or the Fareham office, mostly remote with occasional visits.
The client is ideally looking for candidates with travel underwriting experience, looking for their next challenge. Applicants with a minimum of 4 years of experience in either travel claims or travel insurance claims within broking that are looking to transition into underwriting are welcome to apply.

Experience across travel insurance is essential for this role, specifically within underwriting, minimum 4 years of travel claims or broking to be considered.

Responsibilities include:
- Responsibilities include renewals of existing and new business under agreed underwriting authority within the personal lines travel division.
- The role further includes supporting the business with the response to tenders as well as monitoring the performance of the business, working closely with travel portfolio analysts.
Skills/Knowledge required:
- Travel underwriting experience would be ideal for this role
- Alternatively a minimum of 4 years' experience in travel claims or broking within travel insurance.
- Insurance exposure is essential.
