A global player within the specialty insurance sector are looking for a permanent Treasury Accountant to join their finance team in the City of London. The successful candidate will be a Degree holder with insurance accounting experience, experience in managing banking relationships and multiple currencies, as well as advanced Excel skills.
The key duties are as follows:
- Ensure banking relationships are maintained and meet company guidelines
- Ensure cashflow and liquidity is monitored and forecasted effectively
- Reconciliation of financial cash books and bank accounts
- Provide cover to the Treasury Manager as and when necessary, and assist in the day to day management of junior team members
- Ensure Treasury processes and controls are reviewed on a regular basis and the necessary improvements are implemented
About the successful candidate:
- Degree in Accounting/Finance
- Advanced Excel skills
- Insurance Accounting experience
- Prior experience of managing banking relationships and multiple currencies
