Underwriter - Financial Institutions
We are currently working with a reputable syndicate who are looking for a talented Underwriter to join their Financial Institutions team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Underwrite FI risks in line with appetite and guidelines on a domestic and international basis
- Management of the renewal portfolio within authority limits
- Develop and build upon strong broker relationships
- Show awareness of developments in the market from a professional perspective
- Attend external client meetings
Knowledge/Experience Required:
- Ability to implement a profitable underwriting strategy
- High quality of risk choice/pricing
- A comprehensive understanding of underwriting FI risks for PI, D&O and BBB on both a primary and excess basis
- Strong broker relationships
