Job Description

Eames is currently working with an international insurer who is looking for an individual to manage one of their commercial insurance divisions based in Norwich.

Key responsibilities:

  • Management of staff as well as ensuring the smooth running of all systems and processes associated with the team.
  • Getting involved with underwriting where necessary.
  • Setting projections and targets for the team and reporting back into the London office.
  • Highlighting opportunities in the market and developing business strategy.
  • Developing new and existing insurance products.

Key requirements:

  • Leadership skills, experience managing and mentoring insurance professionals either within broking or underwriting.
  • Experience setting targets, projecting forecasts and day to day running of underwriting or broking trading platforms.
  • Experience within commercial insurance (preferably property, engineering or construction) either within broking or underwriting.
