A Lloyd's syndicate requires an underwriter to join a successful upstream energy division. The team write a profitable book of oil & gas and are managing the transition to renewable energy. The role requires someone who has experience of renewals and new business and it will suit an existing Assistant Underwriter or Underwriter who has an existing scratch (authority). It might appeal to someone who feels they are hampered by working in a large team of people and wants exposure to a smaller team with a market leader for the class of business. The role would also suit a broker who is looking to make the transition to Underwriting.
