Our client is an accredited Lloyd's insurance broker specializing in broking and underwriting services for North American wholesale brokers and managing general agents. They providing delegated binding authorities underwritten at Lloyd's and through International markets. They have an unrivalled reputation for service, relationships and quality of data.
They currently require an Underwriter within the US Commercial Property division. The successful applicant will have previous experience within North American Commercial Property business. It would be an added advantage if the applicant has knowledge of Dealers Open Lot and/or Garage Keepers Lot.
Duties include writing new and renewal business, working closely with the capacity providers, creating new business opportunities and providing support to the Senior Underwriter and wider team.
It is essential that you have experience of US Property business (ideally working as an Underwriter) and an awareness of FCA rules/compliance.
