Eames Consulting are pleased to be working exclusively with a leading Lloyd's broker to hire a broker into their US facilities team. The role will support senior members of the team in placing business into Lloyd's across a variety of property classes of business, mainly derived from US MGA's, insurers and coverholders.

The ideal candidate will have gained experience in US facilities, whether it is in a broker or a (re)insurer. Candidates will need experience in both analytical and transactional duties to advise a client on the optimal reinsurance structures with regard to technical and market pricing and reinsurance purchasing strategies. The role will also provide client servicing (supply of market information, negotiate amendments/improvements to cover, facilitate client/reinsurer meetings etc) and prepare client and market presentations in Excel, Word and PowerPoint formats and work with colleagues to prepare RFP responses.

This is an exciting role which will require good management of clients and give you access to Lloyd's in terms of placement and negotiation. The successful candidate will need broking or underwriting experience and will need to engage with Catastrophe Risk Analysts and Actuaries, demonstrating a level of comfort in discussions on these disciplines.

Previous experience of working in Lloyd's and the London Market is essential.
