  • Role - Working with the team conducting extensive market research, building business plans, economic models, feasibility studies, market entry strategies and economic analysis.

  • Education - Degree from first-class institution, Chartered Accountant.
  • Experience - Minimum five years professional experience in corporate finance and strategy consultancy, with a preference for aviation industry experience
  • Languages - Excellent command of English required (written and spoken)
  • Travel - Predominately based in Brisbane, with extensive travel required

My client are searching for a motivated, passionate, talented individual to join their team. This role is a senior role to lead, on a day to day basis, the commercial planning and analysis of the company’s strategy and corporate development activities (M&A, JV Agreements). Your key responsibilities will include:
Key responsibilities:
• Conduct extensive market research and design market entry strategies
• Build financial models and conduct investment appraisal analysis
• Design and present feasibility studies and business plans
• Structure and negotiate corporate deals with senior level counter parties: Joint Ventures, Partnerships, Licencing Agreements, M&A
• Build relationships with investee company management teams

The successful candidate will:
• Be a qualified Big Four Chartered Accountant with extensive Corporate Finance experience
• Have worked within a strategy consultancy firm, or gained strategy experience in industry
• Have strong corporate finance skills including financial modelling and analysis
• Be a friendly and relational professional, who can build relationships and trust with counterparties
• Be able to travel extensively
• Experience in the aviation industry is preferred
• Be very well-spoken, and have a polished and professional appearance
• Be able to work at speed, multi-task and take ownership of your work
• Be meticulous in your attention to detail
• Be able to operate within small teams
