A leading global consultancy is seeking an actuarial analyst to join them as a core member of their funding and benefits team. The role holder will assist the lead consultant on the delivery of strategic consulting advice to key client contacts, working with other business units where necessary to deliver a streamlined service. 

The role will involve: 

  • Project management.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Carrying out non-standard scheme benefit calculations and actuarial work e.g. scheme design, funding and accounting.
  • Researching new business prospect activity to support business development opportunities. 
  • Mentoring and helping develop junior colleagues.

Suitable candidates will have 2-4 years relevant work experience and be making good progress within their actuarial exams. You must possess a broad understanding of UK pension’s schemes, how they operate and the ability to interpret rules and awareness of what they mean for client work. Good analytical skills and strong technical ability (i.e. MS Office, Excel) as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
