Job Description

The wealth division of a global bank is looking for a candidate to join their wealth management business on a 12 month contract. The successful person will work within a centralised team supporting the UK wealth planning population, within a busy sales and advisory environment. Main function of the role is to provide ‘paraplanner’ support to the wealth planners, ensuring that quality service is provided at all times. 

Key accountabilities:

The role requires, but is not limited to;

Client services:

  • Support to wealth planners covering the preparation of financial planning advice including the creation of professional and compliant suitability reports.

Sales support:

  • Produce appropriate suitability reports
  • Production of pre and post meeting documentation
  • Progress statements on cases required for audit and compliance matters
  • Research/ fact completion on detailed information across a wide variety of internal/external matters.  E.g. unit prices, fund fact sheets, policy charges, pension anaylsis
  • Run analysis on existing policies through comparison systems
  • Request bespoke quotations via online quotation portal
  • Prepare and issue advice packs
  • Respond to/resolve a wide range of queries, channelling to the appropriate area if necessary- issued by wealth executive support manager
  • The position requires an ongoing working knowledge of all professional developments ensuring this is acted upon in the company and the client’s interests.
