Reinsurance Technician

Currently working with a technology-driven MGU seeking a Reinsurance Technician to join its expanding team. The role involves managing all aspects of the Outwards Reinsurance processing, including contract management, financial reporting, and claims processing, while ensuring accuracy and efficiency through automation. Key responsibilities include maintaining the reinsurance ledger, calculating premiums, managing proportional and non-proportional contracts, and supporting the actuarial and finance teams. This candidate will also collaborate internally with the data team to enhance the analytics platform, optimising reinsurance processes.

The role requires strong experience in outward reinsurance processing within a Syndicate or London-based company, along with a solid understanding of financial impacts, credit control, and reporting. Proficiency in MS Office and reinsurance platforms is essential.
