My client seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Management talent to join their Regional Procurement team, with a primary focus on Real Estate & Office Facility Management. This strategic role involves developing and executing category strategies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring efficient procurement of FM services across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement category and sourcing strategies for Facility Management and other Professional Services categories across Asia.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
- Oversee Integrated Facility Management (IFM) vendor performance to realise negotiated benefits on labor and third-party spend.
- Ensure procurement processes are followed to achieve total savings across all relevant contracts.
- Monitor and govern third-party vendor spend and ensure accurate documentation and reporting aligned with company's savings methodology.
- Track negotiation performance from preferred vendors on new lease transactions to ensure expected savings are realised.
- Collaborate with Asia CRE, Finance, and vendor account managers to develop reporting capabilities for accrued savings.
- Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business needs.
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive procurement initiatives and deliver business outcomes.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance procurement processes.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in end-to-end sourcing and spend negotiations for indirect categories, preferably in a multinational or financial services environment.
- Experience working in a regional team and collaborating with local country teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven negotiation and contract management expertise.
- Self-motivated team player with the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
- Demonstrated success in driving cost savings and operational efficiencies.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in an Asian language is a plus.
- Professional certifications such as CIPS or CPSM are advantageous.
