Eames Consulting hosts GRC networking event for female leaders

Wednesday 3rd December saw Eames Consulting host a governance, risk and compliance (GRC) networking event for female leaders at The Refinery in London.

Stephanie Coleman, director of governance, risk and compliance, and Hazel Rowe, partner and associate director for audit, were joined by almost 50 female leaders from across the insurance industry, as well as members of the Eames Consulting team, for an evening of informal networking.

The event gave us the chance to discuss some of the challenges organisations are facing right now and what it takes to be a successful female leader in insurance. Our team were delighted to be able to strengthen their existing relationships with our network and make new connections with high-performing women who are doing really impressive work in their organisations.

Events like this are not just a fantastic reminder of the importance of community, but they also have a universal relevance across job titles and specialisms, bringing together consultants from our GRC, audit, actuarial and tech teams. No matter the industry, there’s always common ground.

Stephanie said: “These events are a great chance for female leaders and their mentees to connect, build relationships and expand their networks whilst also allowing us face time with these key individuals. The evening was full of good conversations and it was great meeting women from across the industry to discuss their challenges, their successes and what excites them about the future. We’re already looking forward to the next one!”
