How we became Capco’s exclusive sub-contracting partner

The client 

Capco is a global technology and management consultancy, specialising in driving transformation across the financial services and energy industries. With a growing client portfolio of over 100 global organisations, Capco combines innovation with industry knowledge to deliver tailored, data-driven solutions and digital initiatives for banking and payments, capital markets, wealth and asset management, insurance and energy. 

The challenge  

Despite partnering with a number of agencies for their recruitment, Capco found that their talent partners often struggled to provide fast enough access to the right talent, particularly in the financial services space. The client approached Eames Consulting in 2018 looking for support in bringing in quality sub-contracting talent. 

The solution 

Having started working with Capco earlier in the year, when our technology and digital enablement division helped them hire a change and implementation lead, we understood that speed was hugely important in allowing them to meet their clients’ needs. 

Thanks to the size and quality of our network of professionals, who we’ve worked with for a number of years and placed in multiple assignments, we were quickly able to demonstrate the accuracy and speed of our delivery. This, combined with our detailed understanding of the client’s business and the wider tech market, showed that we were the ideal talent partner to help them serve their clients.  

The result 

Since we started working with them, we’ve made 118 placements with the client, including developers, data engineers, data specialists, business analysts and project managers. All in all, we’ve supported 296 successful engagements, including contract extensions, which amounts to around 42 a year. 

By building strong relationships with partners across the business based on our understanding of their plans, their pipelines and their pain points, and supplying high-quality talent in the required timeframe, our engagement with Capco as a business has gone from strength to strength. As well as technology and data, we’ve also become their go-to partner for high-quality sub-contractors across change and transformation, risk, compliance and regulatory.
