Opportunity that focuses on climate change

A global climate risk and analytics provider is looking to hire a Model Risk Manager to join their team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who wants to contribute to a business making purposeful impact related to climate change.

In this role you will be working alongside their interdisciplinary science team which comprises of climate scientists, hazard specialists and data scientists, to ensure that model risk controls are embedded throughout the model lifecycle. You will be supporting the oversight and governance of the model risk management framework and monitoring model risk controls, alongside other responsibilities.

For this opportunity the hiring manager is keen to speak to those who are from a quant or actuarial background, and who ideally have had exposure to model validation. Candidates should have an understanding of climate modelling and be a keen problem solver. Passion for helping with climate change is also advantageous.
