Account Executive - Data & Analytics Services (Remote, East Coast)

Location: Remote (Northeast/East Coast US)
Compensation: $150,000-$160,000 base + 50/50 split, uncapped commission

Our Client, a player in advanced data architecture and analytics solutions, is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Account Executive to drive growth across the Northeast area.

About the Role

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and expanding new and existing enterprise accounts. Your focus will be on positioning and selling cutting-edge data and analytics professional services, working closely with Fortune 1000 clients to deliver business value through technology.

This is a remote field role with travel as needed within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture relationships with Director, VP, and C-level executives in enterprise accounts.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities-be a true "hunter."
  • Navigate client procurement processes, ensuring smooth management of contracts, SOWs, and payments.
  • Collaborate with internal leadership, practice leads, and partner sales teams to drive results.
  • Develop an understanding of client business objectives, challenges, and organizational hierarchy.
  • Craft and execute account strategies to build relationships and expand Our Client's brand presence.
  • Work cross-functionally to identify new areas for growth and mitigate business risks during the sales cycle.
  • Engage internal teams to contribute to account expansion and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience selling and expanding project-based professional services in enterprise environments.
  • Proven track record of breaking into and growing new accounts, with demonstrable revenue generation.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and passionate about "hunting" for new business.
  • Strong business acumen with exceptional presentation skills and experience engaging Director and C-level executives.
  • Skilled in developing winning sales strategies and navigating complex sales cycles.
  • Deep understanding of advanced analytics, legacy/cloud data platforms, and data management.
  • Experience selling value-add services in partnership with vendors such as Informatica, Qlik, Snowflake, Tableau, Talend, Alation, Microsoft Azure, or similar is highly desirable.
