We're working with a leading name in the protection market, who are looking for a bright and curious actuarial analyst to join their dynamic R&D team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
What You'll Be Doing:
This is a role for someone who enjoys seeing the full lifecycle of product development. You'll be hands-on from initial concept and research, right through to pricing and digital/operational rollout. You'll be encouraged to bring fresh ideas to the table, contribute to benefit enhancements, and help develop genuinely innovative products that make a difference.
You'll get stuck into:
Identifying and researching opportunities for product enhancements and new propositions
Supporting the design, pricing and clinical foundations of new benefits and features
Estimating the cost of various structures using a range of data and assumptions
Producing key product documents and being involved in business workshops
Working cross-functionally with digital, IT, ops and governance teams
Monitoring product performance and defining KPIs
Supporting product governance with high-quality analysis and communication
What We're Looking For:
A part-qualified actuary
2-3 years' experience in a relevant actuarial or product environment
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working in a fast-paced environment
Confident communicator with solid PowerPoint and Excel skills
Bonus Points If You Also Have:
SQL or coding skills (R, Python)
Experience in consulting, strategy, or tech/start-up environments
An interest in behavioural economics
