This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large Corporate Bank within a well-established and respected corporate risk team . The Credit Risk VP/SVP will report to Head of Credit Risk Asia and focus on Technology, Media and Telecommunication Portfolio of large corporates. Based in Singapore.
Key responsibilities
- Process credit synopses to support highest quality standard decision making including due diligence
- In Charge the performance of the exposure in the corporate lending business with the RM
- Manage the risk quality of the credit portfolio within the perimeter of responsibility
- Align with Banks's risk appetite and strategic goals whilst exercising lending authorities
- Monitor portfolio which include evaluation of potential deteriorations in the credit condition of individual transactions. Stay up to date on industry trends and current market conditions.
- Structure potential transactions within risk guidelines and policies including the preparationof Credit Applications and Internal Credit Ratings. Including earnings, debt and cash flow modelling, return analysis as well as coordination with other bank support functions in connection with transactions in the existing portfolio including in post approval documentation.
- Liaise with Credit Committees and senior stakeholders across the Banks and Headquarters
Key Skills
- Strong track record as credit risk manager within TMT from a Bank or from large Corporates ( Technology, Media and Telecom) or a Rating Agency.
- Experience analysing large corporate and subsidiaries across Asia
- Focus on Supply Chain Financing, Receivables Finance, Factoring, Inventory Finance, Securitisation, Syndicated and Bilateral Loans, Various types of Guarantees, Derivative products and Trade Finance
- Ability to create a new role, analyse new clients and look at new processes within the desk
