Security Architect *BANKING EXPERIENCED*

Security Architect - Banking | £650/day Inside IR35 | 3 Days Onsite (London)

MUST HAVE:
Proven Security Architect experience within a Bank - no exceptions
Deep understanding of CREST, CHAPS, SWIFT, and settlements/payments systems

We're hiring for a contract Security Architect to support security remediation and advisory across a large financial institution. This role is NOT hands-on pen testing - you'll be advising dev teams and solution architects on how to fix and secure issues identified post-pen test.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide developers and architects in remediating pen test findings

• Act as the security conscience in a DevSecOps environment

• Drive improvements in tool security, upgrade sync, and framework migration

• Support and steer SCA integration and SAS deployments

• Secure application migrations to Oracle Cloud and internal IBM-based cloud

• Help implement and secure IBM WTX-based services

Skills & Experience:

• Banking sector Security Architecture experience is essential

• Strong background in DevSecOps and securing CI/CD pipelines

• Hands-on with security remediation, secure SDLC, and tooling

• Knowledge of internal cloud deployments, especially IBM

• Experience supporting Oracle Cloud application security

• Familiarity with settlement and payments systems (CHAPS, SWIFT, etc.)

Contract: £650/day (Inside IR35)
Location: Hybrid - 3 days/week in Central London
