6-month Finance Manager, Insurance

• Oversee accounting operations, including invoice and payment reviews, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reports.
• Manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient funds are available for operational needs.
• Collaborate with departments to manage expense accruals and forecasts.
• Prepare quarterly reports for the Resource Committee and department heads, detailing travel expenses, accruals, IT costs, etc., to provide a clear overview of year-to-date spending and necessary actions.
• Supervise accounting operations, including invoice and payment reviews.
• Review management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
• Coordinate with auditors to ensure timely finalization of audited accounts.
• Support testing sessions for entities and confirmation letters.

• Degree in accounting or a professional accounting qualification (Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant).
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong background in finance and accounting.
• Experience in the financial industry, particularly in insurance, is preferred.
• Fluent in English and Putonghua.
• Detail-oriented with strong attention to detail.
• Discreet when handling confidential information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capable of multitasking, managing complex situations, and meeting tight deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment.
