Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounting operations, including invoice and payment reviews, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reports.
- Manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient funds are available for operational needs.
- Collaborate with departments to manage expense accruals and forecasts.
- Prepare quarterly reports for the Resource Committee and department heads, detailing travel expenses, accruals, IT costs, etc., to provide a clear overview of year-to-date spending and necessary actions.
- Supervise accounting operations, including invoice and payment reviews.
- Review management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
- Coordinate with auditors to ensure timely finalization of audited accounts.
- Support testing sessions for entities and confirmation letters.
Requirements:
- Degree in accounting or a professional accounting qualification (Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant).
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong background in finance and accounting.
- Experience in the financial industry, particularly in insurance, is preferred.
- Fluent in English and Putonghua.
- Detail-oriented with strong attention to detail.
- Discreet when handling confidential information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of multitasking, managing complex situations, and meeting tight deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment.
