A top leading multinational Life Insurer is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented professional to join their underwriting team. The role is pivotal in managing high-net-worth (HNW) and jumbo insurance cases. ensuring seamless coordination across underwriting, distribution channels, and business partners, The ideal candidate will also provide comprehensive administrative support to enhance operational efficiency and business alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
Case Management & Administration (60%)
- Oversee the end-to-end case management process for HNW and jumbo cases, from application submission to policy delivery.
- Ensure administrative accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in coordination with underwriters, channel leads, and business partners.
- Monitor and manage administrative tasks including refund payments, APS letters, and document handling in accordance with company standards.
Administrative Support (40%)
- Support the team leader in delivering administrative services across departments to ensure smooth and business-focused operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate new business processing and post-sale service delivery.
- Handle inquiries from various business partners including private distribution, banks, brokers, and agencies.
- Communicate effectively with underwriters and distributors to expedite underwriting approvals and policy issuance.
- Maintain high standards in policy status tracking, document delivery, and quality control of administrative outputs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry, including at least 4 years in the HNW segment.
- Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of maintaining accuracy under pressure.
- Solid knowledge of HNW insurance products, underwriting processes, AML, KYC, sanctions, and risk management.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels.
- FLMI (Fellow, Life Management Institute) designation is a plus.
- Candidates with less experience may be considered for a Specialist role.
