VP Audit Large Corporates

Our client is a large International Bank with a strong Corporate Banking and Investment Banking presence in Asia and in particular in Singapore. They are developing their corporate banking portfolio and hence strengthening their audit team with a focus on credit risk and branching out in general audit. This is a unique role as this team has a strong track record and would rarely hire candidates externally.

Reporting to the head of Audits, the key responsibilities will be to head up audit across APAC focused on large corporates verticals.

- To lead audit coverage and timely audit assurance for the Bank's credit risk management framework and related controls

-Perform risk-based audits in accordance with credit risk audit methodology and professional standards, including drafting of audit reports, presenting issues to the business, and discussing practical solutions

- Monitor the risk environment and assess the emerging risks through the Business Monitoring process

Key skills

- Strong credit risk experience with large corporates preferred

- Audit credit risk experience is ideal

- Track record of stakeholder management at risk committee or audit committee level

- Strong project management and excellent communication skills

- 30 % travelling in the region required

- Role opened to candidates in Singapore only
