IT Project Manager (Banking)

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Project Manager to join our regional banking team based in Singapore. This role is critical to the successful planning and execution of strategic IT initiatives across the bank's regional operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system development, coupled with proven experience managing complex IT projects within the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for technology initiatives across multiple business units and geographies.
• Plan, execute, monitor, and close IT projects in accordance with agreed scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, solution architects, developers, QA teams, and vendors.
• Ensure effective communication, risk management, issue resolution, and change control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive adherence to SDLC, IT governance, compliance, and security standards.
• Prepare and deliver regular project status updates to senior management and steering committees.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of system development experience, with at least 3 years in a project management role.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Prior experience in managing core banking, payment systems, risk, or regulatory technology projects is highly preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
