Come join a venture-backed Insurtech startup utilizing advanced AI and automation to modernize the $300B+ insurance claims industry. We are searching for a Senior Data Analyst to help scale our platform!

About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our data team during a pivotal stage of growth. This role is ideal for a BI-focused analyst who thrives in high-impact environments and enjoys building scalable reporting foundations. You'll play a critical part in shaping our data ecosystem, working across engineering, product, and operations to turn raw data into actionable insight.

The ideal candidate is an independent self-starter with deep experience in Looker development, DBT modeling, and advanced SQL. You'll serve as a bridge between the technical and business sides of the company - enabling stakeholders to make informed, data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the development and administration of our Looker environment, with a focus on structure, governance, and performance
  • Build and maintain scalable dbt models and optimize SQL workflows to support advanced reporting use cases
  • Drive self-service analytics through comprehensive documentation and training programs
  • Partner with stakeholders across engineering, product, and operations to design robust data models that reflect real business logic
  • Act as a key technical point of contact across departments, translating complex data needs into practical solutions
  • Elevate data literacy across the organization through strong communication and storytelling
  • Help evolve team culture, standards, and best practices in a fast-paced startup environment

Qualifications

  • 6-8 years of professional experience in analytics or BI with 5+ years of deep Looker development experience
  • Advanced SQL expertise across modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Postgres)
  • Proficiency in dbt for data transformation and modeling
  • Demonstrated success optimizing and scaling reporting infrastructure
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills and comfort interfacing with non-technical teams
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and deliver value in an agile, startup environment
  • Adaptable, creative problem solver with a collaborative mindset

Preferred (but not required)

  • Prior experience in the insurance, insurtech or B2B SaaS industry
  • Exposure to cloud data architectures and modern ELT workflows

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and equity package
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Generous PTO and parental leave policies
  • Fully remote work environment
  • High-quality hardware and tools to support productivity

We're committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and encourage individuals from all backgrounds to apply. If you're excited about leveraging data to help modernize a legacy industry and thrive in ambiguity, we'd love to connect.
