The Position

As a front-end engineer, you will play a pivotal part in the advancement of their tech platform. They're searching for individuals who combine technical front-end mastery with a strong appreciation for user experience and design. You'll transform ideas into seamless products and collaborate widely to spark meaningful innovation.

Your Profile

• Driven and ambitious with a genuine enthusiasm for UI/UX and elevating user journeys.
• Proficient in technologies including TypeScript, JavaScript, Next.js, HTML, CSS, GraphQL, and React.
• Open-minded about learning the complexities of insurance claims and motivated to improve industry practices.

What You'll Do

• Utilize our current stack (React, Typescript, Ruby on Rails, Postgres, GraphQL, NextJS, AWS) to build new features.
• Define and refine essential user interactions spanning homepages, dashboards, documentation centers, and SDKs.
• Implement improvements in developer experience across various product components.
• Develop both front-end and backend features that streamline integrations with our platform.
• Partner closely with colleagues in product, operations, design, and sales, and help mentor less-experienced team members.

Qualifications

• More than 5 years building and launching impactful user-facing applications as a front-end or full-stack developer.
• Track record of delivering polished products, whether through professional experience or personal side projects/open source contributions.
• A deep interest in creating intuitive technology and a hunger for continual growth.
• Strong judgment for evaluating, prioritizing, and championing user requirements.
• (Bonus) Hands-on experience with Ruby, Python, or Jest.
