Senior Algorithm Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Algorithm Engineer. In this role, you will lead the design and optimisation of cutting-edge algorithms that form the backbone of our next-generation AI-driven solutions. You will work alongside top-tier engineers and researchers, pushing the boundaries of innovation in computer vision and biometric technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Development - Design, optimise, and maintain advanced computer vision algorithms for eKYC applications, with a primary focus on biometric verification technologies such as facial recognition and liveness detection, supporting secure customer on-boarding and user authentication.
• Cross-functional Collaboration - Partner with product managers, software engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business goals, integrating algorithms seamlessly into production systems.
• Technical Leadership - Mentor junior engineers, set coding and design best practices, and foster a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and effective problem-solving.
• Compliance & Ethics - Ensure that all algorithmic solutions adhere to privacy regulations, ethical AI guidelines, and industry standards for data protection.
• Stakeholder Communication - Translate complex technical concepts into clear insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Ph.D./Master's preferred, Bachelor's considered) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience developing and deploying real-world algorithms in computer vision.
• Strong background in algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming.
• Proficient coding skills in Python (experience with additional languages is a plus).
• Solid understanding of machine learning and deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Proven track record in delivering high-performance ML-driven products to market.
