I am an Partner &amp; Director on the actuarial team, specialising in recruiting mid-to-senior talent within the Lloyd&rsquo;s, London Market and personal lines space, including part-qualified roles up to head of departments.
I was attracted to the actuarial market in 2017 due to it being a niche and specialised market. This has allowed me to build out an established network and be able to understand my client&rsquo;s and candidate's needs, ask the right questions and deliver on both sides.
Not every candidate conversation has to be about being put forward for roles, I can add value by giving candidates the opportunity to know more about salaries, in-demand skills, and also current trends such as flexibility in working arrangements.

Senior Validation Actuary

Our client is looking to hire a Senior Validation Actuary to report into the UK Risk Actuarial Director. This is a great role for a FIA Qualified Actuary who wants to lead the independent model validation and provide direction to the junior members of the team. Key responsibilities include independent model validation, independent standard formula validation, developing and maintaining comprehensive policies and documentation to meet UK regulatory requirements and developing and executing the strategy and direction of the Risk Actuarial team.For this role they require a FIA Qualification, extensive experience in general insurance, and model validation exposure.
