A leading UK insurer is looking for a Senior Technical Pricing Analyst to drive innovation within their underwriting function. This is an opportunity to apply advanced actuarial and statistical techniques, use cutting-edge data science tools, and influence strategic pricing decisions that shape profitability and competitiveness.

Key duties:

• Build and enhance robust actuarial models, delivering innovative pricing solutions.

• Analyse and interpret complex data sets to provide actionable insights for business decisions.

• Challenge existing methodologies and introduce advanced techniques that improve pricing sophistication.

What you'll bring:

• Strong academic background (2:1+ in a numerate discipline; MSc/PhD highly desirable).

• Excellent analytically and problem-solving skills, with experience in data manipulation and modelling.

• Knowledge of actuarial/statistical modelling, machine learning techniques (Python or R), and/or pricing tools (e.g., Emblem) advantageous.
