Compensation: $230-$250K base + commission

I'm currently supporting a high-growth Data & AI consulting firm that is closely partnered with leading cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Snowflake). We're looking for a senior-level sales professional to lead new business acquisition and partner ecosystem growth in the Life Sciences sector.
Role Overview
This is a strategic "hunter" role focused on acquiring new logos, managing the full sales lifecycle, and leveraging cloud technology partnerships to drive revenue. You'll play a key role in shaping go-to-market strategies and building lasting relationships with both clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Acquisition:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within Life Sciences & Pharma.
- Lead full-cycle sales efforts - from prospecting to closing.
- Conduct consultative conversations to tailor cloud and data-driven solutions (analytics, cloud migration, AI/ML, digital transformation, etc.).
Partner Management:
- Develop strong relationships with cloud and tech partners (e.g., AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks).
- Execute co-selling strategies and leverage partner programs to drive pipeline and visibility.
- Coordinate internal alignment on certifications, marketing, and solution readiness.
Revenue & Pipeline Management:
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline aligned to quarterly and annual targets.
- Use CRM and internal tools to forecast and track key metrics (conversion rates, sales velocity, etc.).
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new accounts and strategic partners.
- Ensure a seamless transition to delivery and nurture long-term client relationships for upsell opportunities.
Ideal Background
- 10+ years of experience selling IT services, ideally in Life Sciences / Pharma.
- Demonstrated success in new logo acquisition and revenue generation.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms and the partner ecosystem (AWS, Azure, Snowflake).
- Skilled in consultative selling, negotiations, and partner co-selling motions.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA is a plus.
