Senior Data Engineer

Hiring for a Senior Data Engineer, this role ensures data quality, develops optimized data models and support data migration and integration while leveraging deep knowledge of Snowflake architecture, SQL optimization and cloud datawarehouse best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to collect, transform, and load data into data warehouses.
• Develop data models and data marts to support easy access and analysis by business and IT users.
• Ensure the quality, reliability, and integrity of data through rigorous validation and regular maintenance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders such as data scientists and analysts to meet data and analytics requirements.
• Manage data migration and integration from legacy systems to modern data platforms.
• Promote and implement best practices and standards in data engineering processes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline
• Relevant professional certification, such as AWS Data Engineer Specialty or AWS Solution Architect Associate
• Proficient in Snowflake platforms and cloud-enabled technologies (e.g., AWS RDS, AWS Fargate)
• Minimum 7 years experience in data engineering or related roles, preferably in the financial services sector
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban, SAFe, SCRUM)
• Expertise in ETL processes, data warehousing, BI tools (e.g., Qlik), and advanced analytics concepts
• Solid experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL and MS SQL
• Advanced programming skills in Java, Python, and ETL tools such as AWS Glue
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and team communication skills
