Reserving & Projects Actuary

A leading Lloyd's insurer is seeking a Reserving & Projects Actuary to join their established London Market team. This is a varied role offering exposure across reserving, reinsurance, and strategic projects, making it ideal for someone with 2-3 years' experience looking to broaden their expertise and stakeholder interaction.

Key duties:

• Perform quarterly reserving, reinsurance calculations, and support group reporting.

• Collaborate with Finance, Claims, and Underwriting teams, presenting findings to senior stakeholders.

• Contribute to actuarial projects including inflation analysis, business planning, and process improvement.

What you'll bring:

• Progress towards actuarial qualification with 2-3 years' reserving experience.

• Strong technical skills in Excel; experience with ResQ, VBA, SQL, Python or R desirable.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
