Established FS Brokerage in London is currently searching for a Management Accountant to join their London team. This role reports to the Group FC and covers all global legal entities of the firm including UK GAAP, US GAAP, Singapore GAAP and Luxemburg GAAP. You will support the desk who cover Fixed income / equity derivatives, FX (spot, forwards, options, swaps), bonds and interest-rate swaps.

Responsibilities:

· Preparing and posting journals for all entities

· Accruals and prepayments

· Supporting the day-to-day and month-end close processes

· Balance sheet reconciliations

· Covering and assisting with Accounts payable, payments and bank reconciliations

· Assisting with the preparation of monthly management reports and commentary

· Assisting with the preparation of regulatory returns - FCA, FINRA, NFA, AMF, DFSA and MAS

· Assisting with the preparation of VAT/Tax computations across all entities

· Liaising with global auditors

· Liaising with auditors and regulators including responding to routine queries, audits, and investigations

· Assisting with Year-end financial statement preparation

Requirements:

· Newly/part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)

· Minimum 1 years' experience within a Financial Services organisation or recently qualified from FS Audit.

· Strong Excel skills

· Attention to detail with good knowledge of reconciliations

· Good understanding of an effective control environment

· Strong interpersonal skills.

This is unique role offering a candidate the opportunity to join a successful brokerage and develop their finance experience. You would be need to willing to be in the office 4 days a week and the company has strong bonus potential. Unfortunately visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
