A leading global insurer is seeking a Senior Property & Casualty Underwriter to join their team (hybrid, 1 day a week in office). This is a senior role with real market visibility, where you'll take ownership of large and complex cases, build broker relationships, and help shape underwriting strategy in a business on track to become the UK's No.1 Commercial Insurer.

Key duties:

  • Act as a senior authority holder, underwriting complex property and casualty risks.

  • Build and strengthen broker and client relationships, winning and retaining business.

  • Provide guidance to junior underwriters, signing off referrals and supporting quality assurance.

What you'll bring:

  • Proven senior underwriting experience in commercial property and/or casualty, handling large and complex risks.

  • Excellent trading, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with brokers and clients.

  • ACII qualified (or working towards), with strong leadership capabilities and data-driven decision making.
