Senior Compliance Advisory Manager (12month FTC)

We are partnered with a leading General Insurance firm to appoint a Snr Compliance Advisory Manager on an initial 12 month Fixed Term Contract. This role will cover the companies commercial lines of insurance so knowledge of commercial and business insurance is essential and Lloyds knowledge extremely desirable. The position can be based anywhere in the UK and will require travel to a local office and potentially further travel to other office locations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide pragmatic advice on regulatory compliance, customer outcomes and conduct matters to the business.
• Support with responses to regulatory papers.
• Provide expert advice, challenge and input to appropriate governance committees and internal forums, including briefing the Head of Advisory on compliance and conduct matters.
• Give compliance advisory input and review to business change programmes.

Experience:

Previously operated in a second line compliance advisory role, in a commercial and specialty lines business and have a solid commercial understanding of general insurance and regulatory environment.

• Good understanding of the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR), General Insurance Pricing Practices, Consumer Duty, Multi Occupancy Buildings Insurance, Appointed Representative Regime, Operational Resilience and Delegated Authority Arrangements.
• Good understanding of the insurance industry.
• Effective stakeholder engagement, interpersonal and organisational skills.
