Pensions Executive

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pensions professional to join a growing team in a broad and varied role. You'll work closely with trustee boards, corporates, advisers and service providers, supporting governance, secretarial and strategic projects across a wide range of occupational pension schemes.

What you'll be doing:

  • Acting as a key point of contact for trustees, in-house pensions leads and other stakeholders

  • Supporting and managing relationships with advisers, providers and regulators

  • Delivering scheme secretarial services, including meeting preparation, minutes and follow-up actions

  • Overseeing governance activities such as budgets, risk registers and annual returns

  • Managing member communications, including trustee newsletters and funding statements

  • Coordinating routine projects like annual reports and accounts, as well as wider strategic change initiatives (investment, de-risking and wind-ups)

  • Supporting trustee effectiveness reviews, service provider procurement and other governance projects

  • Playing a part in business development through networking and contributing to thought leadership content

  • Contributing to the development of new services and supporting team training and knowledge-sharing

What we're looking for:

  • 5-10 years' experience in the pensions industry, with strong knowledge of occupational pension schemes

  • Up-to-date technical knowledge of pensions and industry developments

  • Experience working with regulators and managing third-party provider relationships

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor to different audiences

  • Highly organised with strong numeracy and analytical skills

  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Professional qualifications such as APMI or actuarial exams would be advantageous, though not essential

What's on offer:

  • Competitive salary with annual review and bonus

  • Generous pension contributions

  • Private healthcare and health cash plan

  • Life assurance

  • Attractive, modern office environment

If you're looking to take on a role with breadth, challenge and visibility, while working alongside expert colleagues on high-profile schemes and projects, we'd love to hear from you.
